Abstract

This article is an interview with the organizing team of the Espacio Queer. Gender and Sexual Diversity Film Festival. The event is dedicated to showcasing, bringing together, and promoting audiovisual productions on sexual and gender dissidence from the city of La Plata, Argentina. The oral exchange serves as a contribution to reflect on the queer perspective from and within cinema, and on film as a space for political activism and as a community project. Furthermore, the work aims to make cultural initiatives visible and to revalue them in light of the current political, economic, and social context marked by an offensive against rights and the State.
