Abstract
This text proposes a personal journey intended to show how, through teaching, research, community work from university, and professional practice, the treatment of violence against women and the administration of justice have been transformed in recent decades. It is an exercise that allows us to look back and recognize achievements and what requires more work. It is a balance that allows us to celebrate the strength we have had in championing our convictions and consolidating them against the onslaught of denialism and misogyny that today threaten us and multiply their violence.
