That twenty years is nothing? Regarding CInIG´s twentieth anniversary

Abstract
Considering the 20 years of existence of the Interdisciplinary Gender Research Center (Centro Interdisciplinario de Investigaciones en Género, CInIG), at the Humanities and Science College (Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, FaHCE) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, (UNLP, Argentina), the authors offer a genealogy to understand the challenges that this institution confronted in its beginning and to evaluate the transformations through its development. This trajectory unfolds through its relation with feminisms, social movements, and institutional spaces, in which dialogue and conflicts permeate the multiple tasks (in researching, teaching, extension, and outreach) of those of us who are members of the Center. The genealogy that we offer allows us to value CInIG´s trajectory, discern the challenges of our present, and celebrate us, all the members of the center, having in mind the legacy we have received and the one we are building for those who will continue this work.
